Northwest Highway at Tulane Drainage Study
This portion of PHSNA.org is devoted to a 2009-study regarding localized flooding in the vicinity of Northwest Highway and Edgemere Road.

Appendix 5 includes construction cost estimates of $15 million to mitigate to flooding issues.

By 2017 when the project was being considered for inclusion in the City Bond Proposal, cost estimates had escalated to $17 million.

The bond proposal eventually included $49 million “to improve and expand flood protection and storm drainage facilities.” Included within the proposal is $1,859,000 devoted to “Preston Hollow Channel, Phases 1 & 2, with Desco Drainage,” that addresses part of the needs of PHSNA.
